Sober living helps people move from treatment toward independence. It offers a substance-free environment, daily structure, accountability, and connection with others in recovery. It also gives people time to return to work or school, rebuild relationships, and develop routines that support a healthier life.
Why Access Matters
For many people, the cost of sober living creates a barrier at a critical point in recovery. The Rylie V. Rutter Foundation works with community partners and supporters to help reduce that barrier and expand access to recovery resources.
